The Role of Landscape Architect

Surbana Jurong is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect to support a client's large-scale residential and mixed-use developments in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position will be based in the client's office in Riyadh. The role involves landscape design review, project coordination, and site supervision activities, requiring strong technical capabilities and effective stakeholder communication in a client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and review landscape design across concept, detailed design, and construction stages.
• Review consultants’ submissions to ensure compliance with client standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, urban designers, and other disciplines.
• Support project management and design coordination activities.
• Provide technical support during site supervision, including shop drawings, materials, and site queries.
• Participate in client meetings and technical workshops.
• Support commercial and scope-related reviews linked to landscape design.
• Contribute to a collaborative and professional team environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience as a Landscape Architect.
• Demonstrated strong technical capability in landscape design and review.
• Experience in project coordination and site supervision.
• Ability to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders.
• Confident communication skills for client-facing interactions.
