Landscape Site Engineer

About the Role

StudioCREATE is seeking a Landscape Site Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves performing post-contract landscape services to ensure the delivery of high-quality landscape projects.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to manage and oversee all post-contract landscape services. This includes reviewing materials and drawings, scheduling, attending site meetings, and conducting site inspections and approvals to maintain high standards of landscape quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all landscape inspection tasks and duties in accordance with construction contract requirements and DSA work QA & QC procedures, coordinating closely with subconsultant staff for joint inspections.
• Prepare and submit site inspection reports to the Client.
• Verify that hardscape installations comply with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards.
• Assess the quality of materials used and workmanship in landscape construction.
• Coordinate with all relevant parties on construction issues.
• Collaborate with contractors, landscape architects, and project managers.
• Review material submittals and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor project timelines and coordinate with team members to ensure efficient completion of inspections.
• Utilize computer software for document and drawing control, such as Aconex, SNAGR, or FOR PROJECTS, as available and per contract requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Essential Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in CAD software and other landscape design tools.
• In-depth knowledge of hardscape materials, installation techniques, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting landscape plans and construction drawings.
• Strong understanding of local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring active participation in site-based activities and coordination with various project stakeholders.
