About the Role

Alqotr is seeking a Lawyer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of experience. The successful candidate will provide essential legal support and advice to the company, managing legal cases and ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabian laws and regulations.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to safeguard the company's rights and interests. This involves offering legal counsel, overseeing legal disputes, and preparing and reviewing critical legal documents and contracts to ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor labor cases and legal claims initiated against the company, coordinating necessary procedures and tracking developments.
Initiate and file legal claims against parties that infringe upon the company’s rights or fail to meet their legal obligations.
Draft statements of claim, legal memoranda, responses, and other required legal defenses.
Review contracts and agreements from a legal perspective to ensure their terms are legally sound and compliant with regulations.
Provide legal advice to various internal departments on matters and disputes related to the company’s operations.
Follow up on litigation and legal proceedings before courts and relevant judicial committees, adhering to applicable authorities and regulatory requirements.
Research and analyze laws and regulations pertinent to the company’s business and offer appropriate legal recommendations.
Monitor updates to applicable laws and regulations in Saudi Arabia and assess their potential impact on the company’s operations.
Prepare and maintain legal documents and case files, update case records, and monitor statutory deadlines and procedural requirements.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a legal role, demonstrating a strong understanding of Saudi Arabian laws and legal procedures. A relevant legal degree is expected.
