Parsons Corporation is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for ensuring the quality and compliance of electrical works across various projects.

Role Overview

The Lead Electrical Engineer is primarily responsible for overseeing all electrical works to ensure strict conformance with project contract documents and established procedural manuals. This role involves comprehensive technical review, coordination, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor electrical works to ensure conformance with contract provisions and the procedures manual.
• Review, approve, and process all Extra Low Voltage (ELV) and Information Technology (IT) technical submittals.
• Prepare preliminary answers to Requests for Information (RFIs) related to electrical works.
• Coordinate and supervise the pre-installation activities and operations for electrical systems.
• Review contractor’s electrical change order proposals and prepare recommendations for the Senior Electrical Engineer.
• Liaise with necessary sub-consultants.
• Assist with the review of contractor’s claims related to electrical works and prepare recommendations for claims.
• Assist with the review of contractor’s project record documents relevant to the electrical discipline.
• Assist with the inspection of completed works and monitor the start-up, testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical works.
• Prepare "sign-off" packages for completed electrical works, including all required documentation, for approval by the Senior Electrical Engineer.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering. A strong understanding of contract documents and procedural manuals is essential for success in this role.
