The Role of Learning Ops/Automation Manager

Noon Academy is seeking a Learning Ops/Automation Manager to join its Learning Team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to managing the content engine for sciences (Biology/Chemistry) across various curricula, including Qudrat, Tahsili, Nafes, the National Curriculum, and the International track. The position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves a two-phase approach: initial focus on delivery and people management, followed by designing and implementing AI-driven automation for content production.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of four Design Leads covering Biology (Tahsili), Chemistry (Tahsili), Science (Middle School & Nafes), and Bio & Chem (International), including content creators and a QA contractor. This involves setting goals, conducting 1:1s, providing feedback, supporting growth, and hiring.
• Document current content creation processes for lessons, question banks, and assessments, including inputs, tools, decision points, and review cycles, to inform automation strategies.
• Oversee the end-to-end science content roadmap for Grades 7–12 (National and International tracks), ensuring timely delivery and addressing any delays.
• Establish and maintain operating cadences, including capacity planning, production planning, prioritization calls, and unblocking processes, to ensure smooth content pipeline operations.
• Collaborate with Learning Excellence and Head Teachers to define design standards, review gates, and QA workflows, ensuring consistent content quality.
• Utilize data from Exit Tickets, Diagnostics, End-of-Chapter assessments, and Learning Gain to inform and adjust future content development in partnership with Data and Learning Excellence teams.
• Facilitate cross-functional delivery by managing handoffs with Head Teachers, Learning Excellence, Product, Engineering, Data, Customer Experience, and School Ops teams.
• Develop templates, trackers, playbooks, and review rituals to scale content volume without proportional headcount growth, including integrating AI-assisted content production.
• Design and implement AI-driven workflows and tooling, utilizing AI agents, data pipelines, and internal tools, to automate manual steps in content production and continuously improve these systems.

Candidate Profile

This role is suited for a professional with 2-5 years of experience in managing teams and delivering projects under pressure. The ideal candidate will be adept at understanding operational pipelines and then driven to automate those systems. This is not a curriculum design role; candidates should have a background in leading teams of specialists to achieve reliable output and a genuine interest in process automation.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves working within the Learning Team, collaborating with various cross-functional departments including Product, Engineering, Data, and School Operations.
