The Role of Waiter / Waitress

As a Waiter or Waitress at Thuraya, you will be responsible for providing personalized service to guests. This role ensures that each dining experience reflects the quality, warmth, and hospitality standards of the restaurant. This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, requiring 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge guests upon arrival and throughout their dining experience.
• Present menus and explain dishes, ingredients, and daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate requests to kitchen and bar teams.
• Provide attentive table service and anticipate guests’ needs.
• Maintain knowledge of the restaurant’s menu, Lebanese cuisine, beverages, and service standards.
• Ensure tables are properly set, maintained, and cleared.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests or concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, hostess, and other service colleagues for smooth operations.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
• Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Support the team during busy periods and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including restaurant preparation and cleaning.
• Handle all billing and payment procedures accurately.
• Maintain a clean, polished, and professional appearance.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about hospitality and possess a strong focus on service excellence. Candidates should be keen to contribute to a dining destination that highlights Lebanese culinary heritage. A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in a similar role is required.
