About the Role

AECOM is seeking a Lighting and AV Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of advanced lighting and audio-visual systems for various corporate events, venues, and facilities. The role requires collaboration with clients, production teams, and vendors to deliver technical experiences that meet project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement lighting and AV system solutions based on client specifications and venue requirements.
• Install, configure, and test lighting fixtures, projectors, screens, audio systems, and associated equipment.
• Operate and manage lighting consoles, audio mixers, and control systems during events and productions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform preventive maintenance on all AV and lighting equipment.
• Collaborate with event planners, production managers, and other stakeholders to ensure technical requirements are met.
• Create technical drawings and system designs using CAD and specialized AV design software.
• Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations, electrical codes, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and equipment suppliers for component sourcing and inventory management.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members during setup and execution.
• Document system configurations, equipment specifications, and maintenance records.
• Stay current with emerging lighting and AV technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in lighting and audio-visual engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to design, install, configure, and maintain complex AV systems.
• Proficiency in operating lighting consoles, audio mixers, and control systems.
• Experience with CAD and specialized AV design software.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, electrical codes, and industry standards.
