About the Role

ManpowerGroup Middle East is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for a professional with 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.

Role Purpose

The Manufacturing Engineer will be instrumental in optimizing production processes, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting various stages of product manufacturing from introduction to quality control. The role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and process enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement Lean and Six Sigma initiatives and drive continuous improvement projects.
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes, routings, fixtures, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI), Change Actions, and Sales Order Reviews.
  • Support machining activities, including tooling selection, fixture design, and machining efficiency improvements.
  • Monitor manufacturing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), process capability, product quality, and process costs.
  • Troubleshoot production and quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Support risk assessments, First Article inspections, non-conformance management, production testing, and assembly activities.
  • Collaborate with Engineering on manufacturability improvements and Engineering Change Requests (ECR/ECO).

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of hands-on Manufacturing Engineering experience, focusing on direct involvement rather than coordination or supervision.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with machining centers.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

  • Six Sigma White Belt or Green Belt certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Change Actions, New Product Introduction (NPI), Sales Order Review, Process Mapping, Manufacturing BOM updates, Routings, Fixtures, Quality Notifications/Rework, and Troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Lean & Six Sigma methodologies, SAP, and Demand Planning.
  • Basic knowledge of tooling and CNC programming.
  • Experience in Production Workflow, Non-Conformance Management, Technical Investigations, Production Testing, and Production Assembly.
  • Experience in machining processes, tooling, CNC programming, and Oil & Gas manufacturing processes is preferred.
