Master Planning Monitoring & Reporting Engineer

About the Role

Hill International (KSA) is seeking a Master Planning Monitoring & Reporting Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time position involves overseeing and contributing to the development and management of urban infrastructure systems, ensuring alignment with planning goals and regulatory standards. The role requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in relevant fields.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage water supply and wastewater systems in urban areas.
• Develop plans for water distribution networks, sewage collection and treatment systems, stormwater management, and water resource management.
• Analyze existing conditions, assess needs and demands, and develop engineering solutions for optimized functionality and sustainability.
• Conduct feasibility studies for urban development projects, evaluating environmental impact, economic viability, technical constraints, and regulatory compliance.
• Assess potential environmental impacts of urban development projects, including air and water pollution, habitat disruption, and energy consumption, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Analyze and plan the layout and distribution of wet infrastructure systems, considering population density, land use, and transportation demands.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and standards by reviewing project designs, specifications, and construction plans.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals for urban development projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders such as urban planners, architects, developers, government agencies, and community members to develop integrated solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and contribute to project implementation coordination, ensuring effective communication among all parties.
• Utilize data analysis and modeling techniques to assess and predict the performance of urban infrastructure systems.
• Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with Hill International's Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in master planning, monitoring, and reporting engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and managing water supply and wastewater systems.
• Proficiency in conducting feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments.
• Strong understanding of urban planning goals, regulatory requirements, and infrastructure optimization.
