Master Planning Monitoring & Reporting Engineer

About the Role

Hill International, Inc. is seeking a Master Planning Monitoring & Reporting Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves designing, managing, and optimizing urban water infrastructure systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve sustainable urban development goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage water supply and wastewater systems in urban areas, including water distribution networks, sewage collection and treatment, stormwater management, and water resource management.
• Analyze existing conditions, assess needs and demands, and develop engineering solutions to optimize functionality and sustainability of infrastructure.
• Conduct feasibility studies for urban development projects, evaluating environmental impact, economic viability, technical constraints, and regulatory compliance.
• Assess potential environmental impacts of projects, including air and water pollution, habitat disruption, and energy consumption, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Plan the layout and distribution of wet infrastructure systems, considering population density, land use, and transportation demands, and coordinate with other essential services.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and standards by reviewing project designs, specifications, and construction plans.
• Collaborate with urban planners, architects, developers, government agencies, and community members to develop integrated solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and coordinate project implementation, ensuring effective communication among all parties.
• Utilize data analysis and modeling techniques to assess and predict the performance of urban infrastructure systems.
• Adhere to Hill International's Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in master planning, monitoring, and reporting for urban development projects.
• Proven ability to design and manage complex water supply and wastewater systems.
• Experience in conducting feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments.
• Strong understanding of urban planning goals, regulatory compliance, and sustainable development practices.
