The Role of Mathematics Teacher

Saud International School Riyadh is inviting applications for a Full-time Mathematics Teacher to join its academic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role requires a strong understanding of mathematics and effective classroom teaching skills. The successful candidate will help students develop confidence in mathematical concepts, problem-solving, and logical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging mathematics lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and academic expectations.
• Teach mathematical concepts clearly and effectively, including number skills, algebra, geometry, measurement, statistics, problem-solving, and logical reasoning, according to the assigned grade level.
• Create lesson plans, worksheets, activities, assessments, and learning resources that support student understanding.
• Encourage students to think critically, solve problems independently, and apply mathematical concepts in practical situations.
• Maintain effective classroom management and promote a respectful, focused, and positive learning environment.
• Assess student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback to support improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, assignments, and student progress.
• Use the school’s LMS and academic systems as required.
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, coordinators, and school leadership when needed.
• Participate in school activities, academic meetings, events, and professional development sessions.
• Contribute positively to the academic culture and values of Saud International School.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification or relevant professional certification is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience is preferred.
• Experience in teaching mathematics in an international school environment is an advantage.
