About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Mechanic-HVAC II to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is responsible for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment. The position involves daily oversight of the mechanical plant, monitoring property temperature, and analyzing energy and utilities usage, requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections of the mechanical plant and monitor property temperature.
• Analyze energy and utilities usage to identify areas for efficiency.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, meters, and other essential equipment.
• Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems or electronic wiring.
• Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves.
• Perform routine maintenance for pools and spas.
• Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures, reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and completing required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, protect company assets, and ensure confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing service needs, and communicating professionally.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, listening and responding appropriately to concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Reach overhead and below the knees.
• Move in confined or elevated spaces.
• Navigate over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
• Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.

Candidate Profile
