About the Role

Mirage is seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join its Site Supervision team. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves working on various projects across the Kingdom. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in mechanical inspection within consultancy or supervision projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical installations, including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems, to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.
• Review contractor method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals related to mechanical works.
• Witness testing, commissioning, and performance verification of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Identify, document, and follow up on non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, and photographic documentation.
• Coordinate with the Resident Engineer, contractors, and design team to resolve technical issues.
• Verify mechanical materials and equipment against approved specifications.
• Monitor contractor compliance with health, safety, and quality requirements on site.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Inspector within consultancy or supervision projects.
• Proven experience in hotel, residential, or large-scale community developments.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team.

Work Environment

The Mechanical Inspector will operate as part of a multidisciplinary project team, collaborating with various stakeholders including the Resident Engineer, contractors, and the design team. This role is full-time and based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring on-site presence for project supervision.
