Al Khozama Investment is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on ensuring the operational integrity of mechanical systems within our facilities.

Role Overview

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the effective operation, maintenance, and reliability of all mechanical systems within the facility. This includes HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, and other mechanical utilities, ensuring full compliance with established safety, environmental, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, operate, and maintain all mechanical systems, including HVAC, chillers, boilers, pumps, air compressors, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Monitor system performance to ensure energy-efficient operation.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure timely corrective actions are taken to address issues.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance services.

Technical Standards and Project Support

• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and SBC.
• Review technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Maintain comprehensive O&M documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports.
• Support facility upgrade projects and retrofits.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers during project execution.
• Participate in the testing, commissioning, and handover phases of projects.

Health, Safety, and Team Coordination

• Enforce safety procedures and HSE policies, including conducting risk assessments for mechanical operations.
• Respond effectively to mechanical equipment emergencies.
• Supervise and provide training to junior engineers and technicians.
• Coordinate closely with electrical, civil, and other facility teams.
• Liaise with landlords, tenants, and external agencies as required.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this position must possess 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance engineering or a closely related field.
