About the Role

Apt Resources | Recruitment Specialists is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician for Generator Assembly & Aftersales Service on behalf of a client in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is for a professional with 5-10 years of experience in technical and after-sales service operations.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will provide independent technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair services for equipment and machinery at customer sites. This role requires a high degree of autonomy and expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites independently to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems affecting equipment and machinery.
• Perform maintenance and repairs independently.
• Carry out programming and technical adjustments where required.
• Diagnose faults systematically and identify the root cause of technical problems.
• Handle major mechanical duties and repairs related to the company's machines.
• Provide technical support during equipment breakdowns and service calls.
• Follow proper safety procedures when working on equipment and at customer sites.
• Report completed work, identified faults, and required repairs to the relevant supervisor or manager.
• Work professionally with customers and other technical team members.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of previous experience in a technician or similar technical role.
• Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience performing maintenance and repairs on machinery or technical equipment.
• Knowledge of programming and technical systems is an advantage.

Compensation and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring on-site work at various customer locations. The role offers a monthly salary of SAR 7,000 to 8,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
