The Role: Medical Account Manager

As a Medical Account Manager based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to the optical/medical channel within your assigned territory. This full-time role involves managing customer relationships, overseeing account operations, and ensuring effective communication of company plans and product information.

Key Account Management Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships across all assigned channels.
  • Lead all aspects of customer account management, including negotiating annual contracts.
  • Follow up on customer performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Ensure timely communication of Johnson & Johnson's quarterly plan of actions to customers.
  • Inform customers about new products or promotions relevant to their needs and preferences.
  • Address customer queries regarding delivery or product quality.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both external customers and the internal sales team.
  • Manage internal and external customer communication effectively.
  • Meet defined department goals and objectives.
  • Develop Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within the territory.

Planning, Analysis, and Reporting

  • Plan daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly client calls, considering potential development.
  • Fill visit data accurately in *** or other designated reporting formats.
  • Participate in the creation of business plans for the entrusted territory.
  • Submit calls on *** in a timely and complete manner.
  • Regularly update the Plan of Action (POA) cycle plan and segmentation as aligned with the line manager.
  • Provide other types of reporting and current operational information according to instructions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous Account Management experience (up to 2 years of relevant experience).
  • Experience within the optical industry is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Required Skills and Professional Development

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently, while also seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Persuasive, highly motivated to achieve sales, patient, and persistent in approach.
  • Participate in trainings and educational courses in line with the developed plan and sales manager instructions.
  • Maintain and continuously develop necessary knowledge and abilities.
  • Collaborate with other Account Managers to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and overall department effectiveness.
  • Control the availability of resources essential for team objective accomplishment.
