About the Role

Jamjoom Pharma is seeking a Key Account Executive to join its team in the Makkah region, covering Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position involves executing sales strategies and managing key accounts to drive business growth within the assigned area.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to manage assigned key accounts, build strong customer relationships, and achieve defined sales targets. The Key Account Executive is instrumental in expanding product awareness, contributing to business growth, and ensuring outstanding customer service within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets for specific products within the designated territory or accounts, implementing monthly and quarterly activity plans.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with assigned key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact. Document all key account activities and maintain updated customer files. Support the execution of commercial agreements and promotional initiatives.
  • Collect and relay market insights to sales management regarding competitor activity, customer needs, and emerging trends. Monitor competitor performance and suggest strategic actions to improve market positioning.
  • Develop trust-based relationships with healthcare professionals, purchasing stakeholders, and institutional decision-makers. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Submit accurate and timely reports on sales performance, account status, and field activities. Assist in demand forecasting and provide feedback for sales planning and inventory control.
  • Collaborate with the wider sales and marketing team to align on goals and campaigns. Support field activities, conferences, and promotional events as required.
  • Ensure all promotional and sales activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and industry regulations. Optimize the use of company-provided tools and resources to maximize customer engagement and business impact.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as an executive medical representative, with a proven track record of 100% sales achievement for two years and 95% for one year (internal benchmark).
  • Alternatively, 3-4 years of Key Account experience in the pharmaceutical industry (external).

Required Competencies

  • Good understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical market in Saudi Arabia.
  • Commercially driven with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to analyze territory and account data to identify opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple accounts effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (*, Salesforce, Veeva).
