Role Overview

The Music Teacher - Violin is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves delivering structured violin lessons to students of various ages and skill levels, with a focus on technique, musical expression, and preparing students for performances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare comprehensive lesson plans for violin instruction.
  • Conduct individual and group violin classes.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Introduce and reinforce music theory concepts.
  • Organize and manage student practice schedules.
  • Prepare students for recitals, examinations, and performances.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Maintain organized records of student achievements.
  • Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment consistent with Yamaha Music School's professional standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Formal education in Music (*, diploma or degree in Music, Music Education) is required.
  • Demonstrated strong skills in Music Theory and general music knowledge to support structured instruction.
  • Advanced Music Performance skills on the violin, with the ability to confidently demonstrate techniques and repertoire.
  • Proficiency in Music Education, including lesson planning, student assessment, and age-appropriate teaching methods.
  • Prior experience teaching violin in both individual and group settings, preferably within a school, studio, or academy environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work respectfully with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, maintain classroom discipline, and support students in achieving their learning goals.
  • Familiarity with performance preparation, including recital organization and examination requirements, is an advantage.
  • Additional instrumental skills, such as Piano, are preferred to support ear training, accompaniment, and broader musical development.

This is an on-site position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
