United Motors Company is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position offers an opportunity to lead and direct critical operations within our organization.
The Role of National Parts Manager
The National Parts Manager will be responsible for leading, controlling, and directing the activities of Parts Department Heads and NPD staff. The primary objective is to maximize sales, profit, market share, customer satisfaction, and employee morale across all parts operations. This role involves strategic oversight and operational execution to ensure business objectives are met consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Department Managers to achieve monthly and annual budget objectives for sales, operating expenses, and net profit.
- Recommend and ensure effective execution of marketing and operating strategies to maximize business results and company image, particularly for Parts Operation.
- Propose and implement effective operating policies, procedures, and systems within the Department upon approval by the Aftersales Director.
- Supervise, direct, discipline, and evaluate Parts Managers and direct report staff, including recommendations for hiring and redundancies.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are consistently carried out within the Department.
- Monitor Parts efficiencies to ensure systems, procedures, and trained staff support targeted parts order fulfillment and minimize obsolescence.
- Assess existing policies and systems for effectiveness, recommending changes for continuous improvement.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and implement solutions to address recurring issues.
- Approve cash expenditures incurred by Department Heads.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to the Aftersales Director, including budget performance and policy exceptions.
- Prepare and submit annual Parts National Budgets for approval.
- Oversee the development of stockists and dealers in line with the company's distribution strategy.
- Maintain regular communication and strong business relationships with FCA Parts contacts and other external companies.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Aftersales Director, ensuring open consultation and cooperation with other department managers.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience in automotive parts operations.
- At least 5+ years of experience in a managerial role within automotive parts.
- Proven experience in automotive dealership parts operations and inventory management.
- Experience with ERP/DMS systems such as SAP, Oracle, CDK, or Autoline.
- Experience working with OEMs or authorized automotive dealerships is highly preferred.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of parts inventory management, demand planning, budgeting, P&L, and dealer network management.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and people management capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
