About the Role

Harjai Technologies is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join a leading IT organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a skilled professional with 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise cybersecurity and network protection. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network security infrastructures.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network security infrastructure.
• Configure and manage Next-Generation Firewalls, including Palo Alto and Fortinet solutions.
• Monitor network traffic and protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
• Manage VPN solutions, specifically SSL VPN and IPsec VPN.
• Configure and maintain Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS).
• Implement secure network segmentation, DMZ architecture, and VLAN security.
• Review, optimize, and validate firewall rules and access controls.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
• Integrate network devices with SIEM platforms and analyze security logs.
• Investigate cybersecurity incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Harden routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
• Support Zero Trust security initiatives and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot complex network security issues and provide L2/L3 support.
• Coordinate with vendors and security providers for escalations and support.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise cybersecurity and network protection.
• Strong expertise in firewall technologies, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network security operations.
• Demonstrated experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet solutions is highly preferred.

Technical Focus Areas

This role demands hands-on proficiency with critical network security tools and platforms. A strong understanding of Next-Generation Firewalls, VPN solutions, and IDS/IPS systems is essential. The position requires practical experience in implementing secure network architectures and responding to cybersecurity incidents, leveraging various security technologies.
