About the Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking a qualified Nursing professional for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role requires a dedicated individual with 2-5 years of experience to provide clinical oversight, manage unit operations, and lead nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the effective and efficient delivery of patient care, including assessments, care plans, and treatment interventions.
  • Supervise and support nursing staff and students, managing schedules, workloads, and providing guidance.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by the nursing team, addressing patient safety and care standards.
  • Conduct purposeful rounding to assess patient and staff needs and improve care quality.
  • Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and continuous care.
  • Ensure accurate and timely patient care documentation, adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Organize and oversee daily unit activities, including patient monitoring, procedures, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Conduct unit rounds to ensure readiness of rooms and address maintenance needs.
  • Ensure the completion of daily unit assignments and staff compliance.
  • Enforce infection control practices and monitor compliance with all relevant protocols.
  • Lead emergency response efforts, coordinating with emergency services and ensuring appropriate actions.
  • Address and resolve unexpected issues or complications during patient care or within the unit.
  • Support staff training and continuing education to maintain current best practices.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for nursing staff, providing feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Manage and oversee medical supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and good condition.
  • Monitor and manage the unit's budget, controlling costs and ensuring efficient resource utilization.
  • Provide leadership and support to the nursing team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
  • Make critical decisions regarding patient care, staff management, and operational issues.
  • Conduct safety huddles to enhance patient safety and improve team communication.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the nursing team and between departments.
  • Escalate concerns to the unit manager, nursing supervisor, and multidisciplinary team as needed.
  • Address patient and family concerns, updating patient status and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Manage and resolve conflicts among staff, patients, or families professionally.
  • Demonstrate compassionate communication skills in patient and staff interactions.
  • Maintain a positive and proactive approach to challenges.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of full-time registered nursing experience, with at least one year as a charge nurse in the same specialty.
  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
  • License from the country of origin.
  • License for practice as per the regional health regulatory authority (*, SCFHS / DHA).
  • BLS, ACLS, and other relevant Life Support Training (LSTC) courses as applicable.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Service-oriented professional with open communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated leadership and management abilities.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Competence in clerical tasks including phone handling, scanning, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves working within a dynamic healthcare setting, contributing to the operational efficiency and patient care standards of the nursing unit.
