78 is a specialty coffee bar focused on high-quality coffee, fresh food, and handcrafted desserts. We are looking for a chef who values consistency, cleanliness, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cakes, pastries, and baked goods according to standard recipes.
• Produce desserts including mousse, tiramisu, cheesecakes, and seasonal items.
• Prepare sandwich ingredients and assemble sandwiches.
• Prepare sauces, syrups, toppings, and other kitchen components.
• Portion, label, and store products following FIFO and food safety standards.
• Maintain product quality and consistency every day.
• Monitor ingredient inventory and report purchasing needs.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.
• Assist in developing and testing new menu items when required.
• Minimize waste through efficient production and stock control.

Requirements

• Experience in pastry, bakery, or café kitchen production.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques and dessert preparation.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Organized, clean, and able to work efficiently under pressure.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in specialty coffee cafés.
• Experience with production planning and batch preparation.
• Basic English communication skills.
