About the Role
SAB is seeking a Performance Management Senior Manager to join its Finance - Performance and Capital Management Department. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, focusing on enhancing operational frameworks and providing critical insights for strategic decision-making.
Role Overview
The Performance Management Senior Manager is responsible for the comprehensive oversight of the department's operating framework. This includes ensuring the effective implementation of work processes, governing risk-related policies, and developing robust internal control systems. The role is central to generating key management information that supports informed business decisions across SAB.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and control the department's operating framework, providing guidance and support to ensure effective implementation and review of work processes.
- Govern the department's adherence to risk-related policies and processes, covering operational, regulatory, financial, informational, reputational, and audit risks.
- Review the implementation of internal control systems in alignment with operating procedures and regulatory requirements, initiating corrective actions based on audit findings.
- Develop key management information, including financial and non-financial metrics, to support business decision-making.
- Utilize Management Information (MI) systems, collaborating with the Head of Capital and Performance Management, to ensure consistent delivery and production of key MI.
- Manage the collection of complex financial and non-financial information from all divisions within SAB.
- Support the consolidation of annual operating and strategic plans across functions and products, including system consolidation and reporting.
- Manage the preparation of ad hoc Management Information reporting requests for Senior Management.
- Operationalize SAB ALCM policies and ensure their effective implementation within IT systems.
- Develop an internal reporting system that complies with statutory rules and accounting practices.
- Ensure the implementation of all action points identified during internal and external audits.
- Prepare and submit costing and budgetary variance reports to facilitate effective management decision-making.
- Measure financial KPIs against targets, analyze variances, and propose improvements.
- Manage the cost allocation methodology in accordance with the latest organizational structure and approved policy/allocation matrix.
- Monitor process compliance for all transactions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Submit quarterly and annual operating segment notes for published Financial Statements (FS), including underlying variances from prior periods and Annual Operating Plans (AOP).
- Liaise with and support external auditors during financial audits, addressing queries and issues arising from both internal and external audits.
- Centralize business finance production under the MI Production unit within the Finance department.
- Centralize the processing of all invoices for SAB Subsidiaries related to charges recovery, in accordance with approved Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
