Al-Dawaa Pharmacies is seeking a Pharmacist to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves preparing and dispensing medications and cosmetics, ensuring patient safety and adherence to regulatory standards.

Role Overview

The Pharmacist will be responsible for assessing physician orders, resolving potential prescription issues, and providing patient counseling. The role also includes managing pharmacy stock and contributing to internal educational programs, ensuring all activities comply with DMSCO policies and Saudi Arabia MOH rules.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications and cosmetics to patients.
• Assess physician orders (prescriptions) for appropriate dosing, interactions, and potential allergies.
• Take appropriate action to resolve or communicate potential problems with prescriptions.
• Contribute to DMSCO internal and/or external educational or performance enhancement programs.
• Prepare periodical orders from the main warehouse for all required or needed items in the pharmacy.
• Monitor the stock status for all items in the pharmacy according to DMSCO policies and procedures.
• Receive, inspect, and report all orders received by the pharmacy from the main warehouse as per DMSCO policies and procedures.
• Communicate and educate customers about any item(s) they are interested in.
• Provide counseling for patients and/or customers relative to their specific needs.
• Automate all pharmacy activities according to DMSCO policies and procedures, when applicable.
• Supervise subordinates for all activities related to pharmacy practice.
• Adhere to Saudi Arabia MOH rules and regulations.
• Cooperate with management to implement the strategies of DMSCO.
• Report any non-compliance with DMSCO quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience.
• Full awareness of pharmacy management and pharmacy tasks.
• Knowledge of working rules and regulations of Al-Dawaa Medical Services Company (DMSCO).
• Adherence to Saudi Arabia MOH rules and regulations.
