Planning Engineer

About the Role

FNRCO is seeking a Planning Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 5-10 years of experience. The role focuses on optimizing production schedules and resource utilization to enhance operational efficiency within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Develop production plans based on customer orders and demand forecasts.
• Ensure production capacity aligns with customer requirements.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
• Verify raw material availability before releasing work orders.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Monitor inventory levels to avoid material shortages and excess stock.
• Optimize production schedules and resource utilization to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in production planning, material planning, and manufacturing operations.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of production scheduling, inventory management, demand forecasting, and capacity planning.
• Excellent coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage.
