Procurement Officer MEP Background

About the Role

UCC Holding is seeking a Procurement Officer with an MEP Background to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing the procurement of MEP materials, equipment, and subcontracted services for VIP, luxury hospitality, palace, and high-end construction projects. The Procurement Officer will ensure timely delivery, cost optimization, quality compliance, and adherence to project specifications, contributing to project success through strategic sourcing and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure MEP materials, equipment, and services for VIP and luxury construction projects.
• Manage procurement activities for HVAC, Electrical, ELV, Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and BMS systems.
• Obtain quotations, prepare commercial comparisons, and negotiate terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, commercial teams, and site personnel to ensure timely procurement.
• Build and maintain relationships with approved suppliers, manufacturers, and specialized vendors.
• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with project specifications, client requirements, and company procedures.
• Coordinate material approvals, supplier documentation, and delivery schedules.
• Manage vendor performance and ensure high service levels throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project teams in variation orders, value engineering proposals, and material alternatives.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and supplier evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and company policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• This position is open to fresh graduates with 0-1 years of experience.
• Understanding of MEP systems and construction materials.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and sourcing strategies.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
