Product Designer (Mid to Senior)

About the Role

Socium - Teams Done Differently is seeking a Product Designer (Mid to Senior) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on creating digital experiences, particularly within financial services and regulated environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mobile-first UX and the ability to translate regulatory constraints into user-centered designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prototype digital products, ensuring customer and business impact.
• Conduct user research and usability testing, especially within regulated environments.
• Develop high-fidelity UI, interactive prototypes, and design specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, explaining and defending design decisions using research and data.
• Balance user needs, business goals, technical constraints, and regulatory requirements in design solutions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 4+ years of UX/UI or Product Design experience, preferably in banking, fintech, or financial services.
• Demonstrated strong mobile product design experience through a portfolio.
• Experience working on enterprise-scale products, ideally within banking or other regulated industries.
• Hands-on experience using Claude Code for prototyping, building, testing, and iterating digital products.
• Experience with Jira and Agile methodologies, including Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban.
• Working knowledge of front-end technologies and their influence on design and implementation.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Figma and strong experience with Miro for design, prototyping, workshops, and collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of iOS/Android UX patterns, responsive design, accessibility, and interaction design.
• Proficiency in high-fidelity UI, interactive prototyping, design systems, and design specifications.
