Project Controls Manager

About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Project Controls Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position that involves leading a team of professionals in overseeing all phases of mission-critical projects or programs. The role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review contractor schedules to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Engage with contractors to develop delivery, recovery, and mitigation plans.
• Develop detailed schedules with resource and cost loading at the activity level.
• Develop and maintain detailed deliverable lists for each design project, coordinating with the Project/Engineering Manager.
• Implement a deliverable-based progress measurement model and coordinate with leads for periodic updates.
• Utilize Earned Value Management techniques to evaluate schedule and cost performance metrics.
• Maintain weekly updates of the Earned Value Analysis dashboard at both project and Sector levels.
• Provide construction support by reviewing, checking, and evaluating contractors’ schedules of work, monitoring progress against accepted programs, and reporting to the Project Manager.
• Prepare weekly and/or monthly progress reports detailing the status of construction projects.
• Offer proposal support by developing schedules for Parsons’ new pursuits.
• Attend internal and external meetings to discuss and present schedule and progress-related matters.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team of professionals.
• Proficiency in managing and reviewing complex project schedules.
• Experience with Earned Value Management techniques.
