Project Director

About the Role

Ignite Search and Selection is seeking a Project Director to join a leading main contractor in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is critical due to the recent award of a significant high-rise commercial development. The Project Director will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle of mega building developments.

Project Overview

The Project Director will lead the execution of landmark multi-billion complex developments. This involves strategic operational control, fast-track supply chain governance, and ensuring Tier-1 main contractor performance. The role focuses on delivering projects profitably and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle execution of mega building developments.
• Implement strategic operational control and fast-track supply chain governance.
• Ensure Tier-1 main contractor performance on projects.
• Direct multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Manage client and consultant interfaces effectively.
• Maintain rigorous HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) and QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) compliance.
• Ensure profitability and timely handover of complex developments.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• A proven track record of delivering mega-scale building projects.
• Over 10 years of extensive Tier-1 main contractor leadership experience managing multi-billion SAR developments.
• Advanced capability in directing large-scale Joint Venture (JV) operations.
• Proficiency in managing full project P&L (Profit & Loss).
• Experience with fast-track engineering workflows and complex contractual execution.
