About the Project Engineer Role

Forbes Marshall is seeking a Project Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Project Engineer will act as a technical consultant and strategist within the expanding industrial landscape of Saudi Arabia, focusing on bridging the gap between standard operations and world-class efficiency for clients.

Role Purpose and Impact

The primary objective of this role is to champion sustainability and operational excellence by integrating Forbes Marshall's solutions into client projects. This involves identifying opportunities for optimization, reducing carbon footprints, conserving energy, and ensuring the industrial future of Saudi Arabia is both productive and environmentally responsible. The role directly contributes to helping clients reduce fuel expenses and CO2 emissions, while also supporting water conservation and operational uptime.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply deep technical knowledge of Steam Boilers and Steam Systems as a subject matter expert.
• Identify and track upcoming industrial projects across Saudi Arabia's industrial and economic regions.
• Engage with key consultants and contractors involved in large-scale steam and thermal energy projects.
• Provide technical support from the initial design stage to ensure integration of Forbes Marshall solutions.
• Manage the process of registering Forbes Marshall on approved vendor lists for regional consultants and contractors.
• Conduct training seminars and technical workshops for consultants and contractors on engineering innovations.
• Perform industrial benchmarking to demonstrate the efficiency and reliability of Forbes Marshall deliverables.
• Conduct onsite surveys to identify operational gaps and improvement areas within customer facilities.
• Submit technical reports with data-backed insights into system health and performance.
• Propose tailored solutions focused on energy saving, productivity enhancement, and environmental impact reduction.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (** or ** in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Power, Chemical, or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
• Registered or eligible for registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in project engineering, technical sales, or industrial utility management, preferably within Saudi Arabia.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer; experience with steam systems, boilers, or process automation is advantageous.
• Experience in manufacturing environments such as Petrochemicals, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, or heavy utilities is preferred.
• Must be based in Saudi Arabia with a valid, transferable Iqama.
• Proven ability to engage with EPC contractors, engineering consultants, and plant managers, influencing project specifications.
• Full professional command of English; fluency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
• Results-oriented with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose technical solutions as business cases.
• Competence in conducting technical surveys, industrial benchmarking, and drafting performance reports.
• Possession of a valid Saudi Arabian driving license and willingness to travel extensively.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a customer portfolio.
