About the Role

National Initiative Human Resource Company is seeking a Project Engineer (Mechanical) for a full-time position within a leading PIF-backed manufacturing organization. This role is based in King Abdullah Economic City, Makkah Region, Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview

The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating mechanical project activities throughout their lifecycle, from initial planning and execution to final commissioning. The position requires a proactive approach to managing complex mechanical systems and ensuring project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate mechanical project activities from planning through execution and commissioning.
• Manage the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of heavy equipment and machinery.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Support mechanical and basic electrical activities during project execution, with a primary focus on mechanical aspects.
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including reports, presentations, and progress updates.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for identified issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and project standards throughout all project phases.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team development.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience of 3-4 years working with heavy equipment or industrial machinery, preferably involving hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Good understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to coordinate basic electrical aspects during projects.
• Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
