Project Engineer

About the Role

Hill International, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing and coordinating various project functions to ensure successful project delivery within established timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project team members.
• Coordinate with design, manufacturing, construction, and maintenance teams to achieve project goals.
• Ensure projects adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and change orders.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and problems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor and coordinate project functions such as Project Management, Site Management, Project Control Management, Engineering Management, Procurement, and Construction Management.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting standards are maintained across all projects.
• Coordinate and communicate with project groups on major regional projects.
• Liaise with regional and site management regarding project status, significant trends, and approved project changes.
• Monitor engineering progress against budget and forecasted schedules.
• Prepare engineering budgets, project schedules, and project control budgets.
• Maintain ongoing communication with construction and contractor management teams.
• Coordinate engineering activities with other departments and provide technical assistance during construction.
• Provide technical advice and support to various departments.
• Ensure continuous compliance with Hill International's Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.

Required Experience

• Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project engineering or a similar role.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
