Alpha Leadership Co. is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Roads, Highways & Detour Planning to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on leading major road and highway infrastructure projects.

Role Overview

The Project Manager will oversee the complete project lifecycle, from initial design review and construction supervision through to project handover. This role serves as the primary liaison between the client, contractors, and design consultants, ensuring that projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to specified requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage road and highway projects from the planning phase through to completion.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to approved designs, specifications, and quality standards.
• Plan, review, and coordinate traffic management and detour schemes to minimize disruption for road users.
• Review and approve contractor submittals, work programs, method statements, and progress reports.
• Monitor project schedules, costs, and risks, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee contractor payments, variation orders, and claims in accordance with contract conditions.
• Coordinate with authorities, utility providers, and stakeholders to resolve interface issues.
• Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and quality assurance procedures on site.
• Provide regular progress reporting to the client and senior management.
• Guide and mentor site engineers and supervision staff.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in roads project engineering and site supervision.
• Working knowledge of the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environment, including client representation, contractor oversight, and contract administration.
• Strong understanding of FIDIC or similar contract conditions.
• Proficiency in project planning tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
