The Opportunity: Project Manager

Qantara is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves managing and overseeing one or more development projects in coordination with the Project Management team and the Supervision Consultant. The Project Manager will lead all project disciplines and activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within the approved budget, and in accordance with required quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely and within-budget delivery of assigned development project(s).
• Control and monitor the project budget, reporting on variations promptly.
• Monitor the cost and quality of assigned project(s) daily, keeping management informed on progress and budget status.
• Report regularly to the Executive Director, Development Management on project progress, concerns, and disputes.
• Oversee and follow up on ongoing works with the PMC/Consultants.
• Liaise daily with the main contractor through the PMC/Consultants.
• Provide detailed input to the Development Planning department during the conceptual stages of a project.
• Maintain Safety standards, Quality Assurance, and Control across projects.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in project management.
• A strong track record in leadership positions, demonstrating the ability to motivate teams and build respect and trust from staff and external stakeholders.
• Previous experience working in the GCC region, with a preference for experience in Dubai or Doha.

Project Management Focus

The Project Manager will be responsible for comprehensive project planning, continuous progress monitoring, effective coordination of all stakeholders, proactive risk management, and ensuring the successful achievement of project objectives from inception to completion. This includes a focus on delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Location

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires close coordination within the Project Management team and with external consultants and contractors to drive successful project outcomes.
