About the Role

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Project Manager - EV Charging & Smart Building Technology to lead the delivery of electric mobility and smart infrastructure projects. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, and involves working on major developments, smart cities, transportation programs, airports, mixed-use developments, and sustainable mobility initiatives across the region.

Role Context and Impact

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing projects that contribute to the future of the Middle East's infrastructure. This includes managing the successful implementation of innovative technology solutions in EV charging and smart building systems, ensuring compliance with standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery of EV Charging Infrastructure projects from concept through design, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Oversee the implementation of AC and DC charging networks, fleet electrification projects, charging hubs, and smart energy solutions.
• Manage the delivery of Smart Building Technology systems, including BMS, IBMS, ICT, ELV, Security Systems, Access Control, CCTV, Smart Lighting, IoT Platforms, and Digital Building Solutions.
• Act as the primary client interface, managing project scope, program, budget, and stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across electrical engineering, ICT, digital technology, sustainability, and specialist design disciplines.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, international standards, and WSP quality procedures.
• Support business development activities, client engagement, and proposal preparation within the Smart Mobility and Smart Buildings sector.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, specifically within EV Charging and Smart Building Technology.
• Demonstrated experience in leading complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder relationships effectively.
