Purchasing Agent

About the Role

Hilton is seeking a Purchasing Agent to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time position involves managing purchasing-related documents, maintaining accurate records, and supporting data-driven decision-making through cost analyses and market research. The role focuses on ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and supplies for the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Support procurement operations by assisting with the purchase of materials and supplies, researching prices, and ensuring compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.
• Process and verify deliveries, checking purchased products against purchase orders, invoices, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Fulfill requisitions by issuing and delivering items to departments as requested, maintaining appropriate stock levels, and notifying supervisors of low or out-of-stock items.
• Process invoices, verify accuracy, scan documents, and follow up on discrepancies to ensure timely payment.
• Assist with inventory tracking, conducting routine inventories, inputting received merchandise into tracking systems, and reporting shortages or discrepancies.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of experience in a related field.
• Demonstrated precision and attention to detail in handling documents and records.
• Ability to maintain accurate purchasing records and conduct basic cost analyses.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh. The Purchasing Agent will work within the Hotels team, contributing to the operational efficiency of the hotel's procurement functions.
