Purchasing Engineer

About the Role

Dar wa Emaar is seeking a Purchasing Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies to support project requirements and corporate objectives, while ensuring cost efficiency and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project requirements efficiently and minimize costs.
• Conduct strategic analysis of the supplier market and competitors to identify and select suitable suppliers.
• Execute efficient and effective procurement operations for necessary materials and services.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal deals, commercial terms, and competitive prices, ensuring timely delivery.
• Monitor the quality of purchased materials and services to ensure compliance with required standards.
• Estimate project needs for materials and services and identify appropriate suppliers to fulfill these requirements.
• Build and cultivate long-term relationships with preferred suppliers.
• Monitor and regularly evaluate supplier performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement procurement strategies.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier relationship management.
