Role Overview: QA Automation Lead

Mirai is seeking an experienced QA Automation Lead to enhance quality across its gaming portfolio and platforms. This full-time, hands-on leadership position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, and requires a highly technical quality professional. The successful candidate will drive automation excellence, mentor quality engineers, and implement modern quality engineering practices. Working closely with the QA Manager, this role is central to ensuring the highest quality standards across multiple projects by building robust automation frameworks, addressing complex testing challenges, and empowering development teams through coaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and backend services within the gaming ecosystem.
• Develop automated tests for functional, integration, regression, API, and end-to-end scenarios, including analysis of results to identify root causes.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery practices.
• Collaborate with game teams and internal/external QA teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership to the Quality Engineering team, mentoring junior and senior engineers to advance their automation and programming expertise.
• Conduct code reviews and lead training sessions on quality engineering best practices to promote high standards for maintainability and scalability.

Performance Milestones

1. Within 30 Days: Map out the existing technical architecture and establish strong relationships with cross-functional game teams and external QA partners.
2. Within 90 Days: Design or upgrade the core web automation framework and establish a structured code-review process for the Quality Engineering team.
3. Within 6 Months: Achieve a measurable reduction in manual regression cycle times and increase automated test coverage across critical paths.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in QA automation and quality engineering roles.
