The Role: QA/QC Manager

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and quality control activities for major mission-critical projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, onsite position is open to Saudi Nationals Only and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role involves overseeing the implementation of the Project Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with contractual and technical requirements, and driving consistent quality performance throughout construction, testing, commissioning, and handover phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and implement the Project Quality Management Plan (QMP).
  • Ensure construction activities comply with project specifications, contractual requirements, approved procedures, and applicable quality standards.
  • Perform FOK, installation, PUE, and other required quality inspections.
  • Lead QA/QC inspections, audits, surveillance activities, and quality assurance reviews.
  • Perform final review, sign-off, and escalation of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
  • Monitor NCR status, recurring issues, and quality trends.
  • Review and monitor Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and associated quality records.
  • Lead root cause analysis and ensure corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented.
  • Monitor quality performance and report KPIs, risks, trends, and areas of concern to the PMO and Owner.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure quality documentation, inspection records, and supporting evidence are complete and properly maintained.
  • Support testing, commissioning, handover, and final quality acceptance.
  • Drive continuous improvement and promote a strong quality culture across the project.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Strong QA/QC management experience on major construction or capital projects.
  • Experience in hyperscale data centers, mission-critical facilities, infrastructure, EPC, or PMC environments.
  • Strong knowledge and practical implementation of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience developing and implementing Quality Management Plans.
  • Extensive experience with inspections, ITPs, audits, quality documentation, and compliance management.
  • Strong experience reviewing, closing, and escalating Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action management.
  • Experience monitoring and reporting quality KPIs to senior project stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or equivalent quality certification.
  • Experience on hyperscale data center or mission-critical projects.
  • Knowledge of international quality standards and construction best practices.
  • Familiarity with electronic Quality Management Systems and document control platforms.
  • Experience with commissioning quality processes and handover documentation.
  • Experience developing quality dashboards and performance analytics.
  • Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and associated QA/QC requirements.
  • Strong leadership, team mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.

Work Environment and Tools

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Quality Assurance & Quality Control Department. The role involves utilizing various productivity tools, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as electronic Quality Management Systems, document control platforms, and quality reporting and dashboard tools.
