The Role of Quality Assurance Engineer

Mnzil is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience and involves ensuring the quality of web and mobile products. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards for every release, ensuring products are fast, functional, and defect-free before reaching users.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications, covering functional, regression, integration, and edge cases.
• Log and track defects with clear reproduction steps, severity, and evidence, and manage them through to resolution.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers from requirement review to production release to identify issues early.
• Build and maintain automated test suites that run reliably within CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct API tests and standard performance tests, and report the results.
• Analyze test results and failure patterns to determine root causes.
• Track quality metrics such as defect escape rate, test coverage, and regression pass rate, and share these with the team.
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and standards to support faster release cycles.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in quality assurance engineering, with a focus on web and mobile products. A strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools is essential for this role.

This position offers a hybrid work setup within a high-growth startup environment. The Quality Assurance Engineer will work closely with product and engineering teams, contributing to testing standards for products used across Saudi Arabia.
