Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role

Omega Talent is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for an international engineering and construction company. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves overseeing quality assurance and quality control for a high-specification manufacturing facility. The role is open to professionals with backgrounds in MEP, civil, or architectural disciplines, with a preference for candidates experienced in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) environments, particularly those with experience in industrial or oil and gas projects.

Role Overview

The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the implementation and monitoring of project quality requirements, ensuring that all works meet contractual specifications, applicable standards, and client expectations. This role requires a professional who combines practical project delivery experience with strong discipline in quality documentation, compliance, and record management. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and traceability of quality records throughout the project lifecycle, from engineering and procurement through construction, commissioning, and handover. A central responsibility of this position is meticulous documentation management, including identifying and resolving missing evidence, inconsistent records, incomplete approvals, and gaps in traceability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain project quality plans, quality procedures, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Ensure quality requirements are integrated across engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Oversee the preparation, review, approval, and maintenance of quality documentation, including inspection requests, material approvals, test reports, inspection checklists, method statements, and supporting records.
• Maintain clear document status tracking, revision control, and traceability in coordination with document control and project teams.
• Verify that inspection and testing records are complete, correctly referenced, and supported by required approvals and evidence.
• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and quality observations, ensuring root causes are addressed and closure is properly documented.
• Conduct internal audits, site inspections, and supplier or subcontractor quality assessments.
• Monitor subcontractor and supplier compliance with project specifications, approved procedures, and contractual quality requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, third-party inspectors, and internal stakeholders on inspections, audits, and quality approvals.
• Identify quality risks early and collaborate with project teams to prevent recurring defects, rework, and documentation shortfalls.
• Report on quality performance, outstanding inspections, NCR status, and documentation readiness.
• Oversee the compilation and verification of quality dossiers, turnover packages, and final handover records.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control roles.
• Background in MEP, civil, or architectural engineering.
• Strong preference for experience within Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) environments.
• Experience on industrial or oil and gas projects is highly relevant.
• Demonstrated ability to manage quality documentation, compliance, and record management.
