About the Role
Fisher Human Resource Consultancy is seeking a qualified Quality Control Inspector – Mechanical to join a project team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on District Cooling Plant (DCP) projects and requires strong experience in mechanical inspection activities. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with project specifications, FEED documentation, and international standards.
Role Context and Responsibilities
The Quality Control Inspector – Mechanical will be responsible for overseeing the quality of mechanical works within DCP and Cooling Tower projects. This involves conducting and witnessing various inspections, reviewing critical documentation, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to maintain high quality standards throughout project execution.
- Perform mechanical inspections for DCP and Cooling Tower works.
- Conduct and witness welding inspections and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities.
- Review and verify Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and method statements.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) requirements.
- Coordinate with third-party inspection bodies and client representatives.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation.
- Monitor site execution to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
- Identify non-conformities and support the implementation of corrective actions.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for this position should possess a solid background in mechanical inspection within industrial or plant environments. A thorough understanding of quality assurance and quality control procedures is essential.
- Experience: 5-10 years in mechanical inspection activities.
- Strong experience in cooling towers, chilled water systems, piping, and associated plant equipment.
- Thorough knowledge of QA/QC procedures.
- Proficiency in welding inspection and NDT coordination.
- Ability to ensure compliance with project specifications, FEED documentation, and international standards.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, focusing on project-specific assignments within District Cooling Plants. The role involves working as part of a dedicated project team.
