About the Role

V2X Inc is seeking a Quality Control Specialist (A&P) to join our team in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is integral to ensuring the highest standards of aircraft maintenance and operational readiness.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for verifying that all aircraft maintenance activities are performed safely, correctly, and in strict accordance with established aviation standards. This position directly influences aircraft readiness, operational safety, and mission capability for the customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled, unscheduled, and random inspections to ensure maintenance work adheres to aviation standards, technical publications, and safety requirements.
  • Review maintenance performed across all disciplines, including Powertrain, Engines, Avionics, Electrical, Sheet Metal, Welding, Armament, Corrosion Control, and Tool Control, to confirm accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct 100% inspections, monthly inspections, and observation-based quality checks.
  • Verify aircraft logbooks, records, and readiness data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify maintenance discrepancies and issue corrective actions, tracking and validating their timely resolution.
  • Classify findings by severity (major, minor, or observation) and support root-cause analysis as required.
  • Review readiness and maintenance program records (*, Tool Control, Corrosion, TMDE, Oil Analysis) to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Prepare and submit inspection reports, discrepancy reports, and corrective action documentation.
  • Monitor maintenance records, component tracking, and supply documentation for accuracy and proper routing.
  • Verify the proper execution and documentation of on-the-job training (OJT) for maintainers.
  • Collaborate with Production Control, Technical Supply, and Maintenance leadership to resolve quality issues.
  • Coordinate with the Government Flight Representative on maintenance test flight documentation requirements.
  • Provide guidance to maintenance teams to promote continuous improvement and reduce rework.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Indicators of Success

  • Aircraft consistently meet mission-capable readiness targets.
  • Corrective actions are completed on time and do not reoccur.
  • No repeated major quality findings.
  • Local maintainers demonstrate improved performance and reduced rework over time.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in aircraft maintenance quality control. A strong understanding of aviation standards and technical publications is essential.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a dynamic environment focused on maintaining high standards of aircraft operational readiness.
