RAN Integration Solution Architect

About the Role

Ericsson is seeking a RAN Integration Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of Radio Access Network (RAN) integration solutions. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and involves working across 4G and 5G environments. The role requires acting as a technical authority to ensure successful integration, modernization, and optimization of network solutions, while supporting customers through complex transformation programs.

Role Context and Objectives

The RAN Integration Solution Architect will collaborate with engineering, operations, project teams, and customers to deliver scalable, high-quality, and innovative network solutions. This position focuses on meeting both business and technical objectives within the evolving network landscape, specifically addressing 4G and 5G technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end RAN integration activities for 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G networks.
• Define solution architectures, integration strategies, and implementation plans.
• Ensure successful deployment, commissioning, testing, and acceptance of network solutions.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for complex integration and interoperability issues.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers, operations teams, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth delivery.
• Drive adoption of Cloud RAN, Open RAN, virtualization, and automation initiatives.
• Review network designs, configurations, and implementation plans to ensure quality and compliance.
• Support presales activities, technical proposals, solution development, and customer presentations.
• Identify risks, provide mitigation plans, and ensure delivery milestones are achieved.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated expertise in RAN integration solutions across 4G and 5G environments.
• Experience with network modernization and optimization programs.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a team of diverse innovators focused on developing advanced network solutions.
