RDC Operations Executive

About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is seeking an RDC Operations Executive to join its Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) operations in Riyadh. This full-time role is integral to a newly formed organization dedicated to designing and launching new business models across the AMET region. The executive will contribute to redefining fast delivery services and establishing new customer offerings, including 3P Store Operations.

Role Purpose and Operational Context

This position is crucial for ensuring that Amazon policies, particularly attendance tracking, are implemented and administered fairly and consistently. The RDC Operations Executive will be responsible for motivating, coaching, reporting on, and providing feedback regarding associate performance. This includes evaluating productivity, quality, and safety to ensure that Amazon's operational expectations are met or exceeded. The role directly supports Amazon's mission to enable customers to find, discover, and purchase items online, fostering innovation within new service models.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily end-to-end UTR operations for either one large site or a combination of smaller sites, including the supervision of store operations.
• Achieve customer-facing metrics while consistently maintaining operational and quality targets, and upholding team safety and morale.
• Drive performance management initiatives and processes for team members.
• Prepare and implement comprehensive training and development plans for pickers.
• Collaborate closely with merchant stakeholders to continuously improve operations processes and achieve sustained performance enhancement.
• Conduct daily 4M / 5S and Safety GEMBA audits specifically for the stores.
• Act as a stand-in for the Area Manager when required, assuming their responsibilities.

Team Leadership and Development

As a Team Lead for UFG UTR operations in KSA, the RDC Operations Executive will focus on the development and performance of their team. This involves providing direct coaching, constructive feedback, and implementing structured training programs for pickers to enhance their skills and overall productivity within the operational framework.

Operational Standards and Compliance

A fundamental aspect of this role is to uphold Amazon's stringent operational policies and safety standards. The RDC Operations Executive will ensure compliance through regular audits and the consistent administration of policies, thereby contributing to a secure, efficient, and high-quality work environment across all managed sites.
