Real Estate Development & Design Manager

About the Role

Future Connect is seeking a Real Estate Development & Design Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a strong architectural or engineering background and 7–10 years of experience in real estate development. The successful candidate will oversee the technical aspects of real estate development projects from initial concept through design development and execution coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and review technical feasibility studies for new real estate development projects, assessing site potential, technical requirements, project risks, and development opportunities.
• Coordinate with commercial and financial teams to evaluate project viability.
• Manage architectural and engineering design activities from concept to detailed design, overseeing master planning for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
• Ensure designs align with development objectives, project budgets, and applicable regulations, coordinating design approvals and resolving technical design issues.
• Identify and implement value engineering opportunities, optimizing design solutions, construction materials, and technical specifications in collaboration with cost consultants.
• Manage external architectural, engineering, and master planning consultants, including preparing and reviewing scopes of work and technical proposals.
• Monitor consultant performance, deliverables, design quality, and project schedules, coordinating between consultants, contractors, and internal development teams.
• Oversee technical development activities across assigned real estate projects, supporting project planning, tender preparation, and technical evaluations.
• Monitor design milestones, budgets, and technical risks, ensuring effective coordination between development, design, and construction teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• 7–10 years of experience in real estate development.
• Strong architectural or engineering background.
• Hands-on experience in feasibility studies, design management, value engineering, master planning, and consultant management.
