Job Description
Regional Business Process Manager: Overview
Pacific International Lines (PTE), a global shipping industry leader with over 55 years of operation, is seeking a Regional Business Process Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to driving business process excellence, standardization, automation, and digital transformation initiatives across the regional organization. The manager will work closely with Business Process Owners (BPOs), agency teams, and regional leadership to enhance operational efficiencies, strengthen governance, and support sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end process reviews to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and digitalization.
- Drive standardization and implement best practices across regional agencies.
- Design and optimize workflows to improve operational efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across various business functions.
- Evaluate and develop automation opportunities, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and workflow automation solutions.
- Partner with IT teams and business stakeholders to implement technology-driven process improvements and support digital transformation projects.
- Lead and participate in business process improvement projects, particularly within Sales and Customer Service functions.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, stakeholder engagement, and implementation activities, including supporting change management initiatives.
- Monitor regional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and process performance metrics, analyze data, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop performance reports and provide recommendations to regional leadership to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and facilitate training programmes for Business Process Specialists across the network.
- Build strong partnerships with Business Process Owners, agency teams, and regional stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring alignment.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 5-10 years in Business Process Management, Continuous Improvement, Process Excellence, Business Transformation, or Project Management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical and sustainable solutions.
- Knowledge of process mining tools and methodologies is an advantage.
- Experience within the shipping, logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry is preferred.
Preferred Certifications and Candidate Attributes
Candidates with the following professional certifications are preferred:
- PMP, PMI, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent Project Management certifications.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Change Management certifications such as CCMP, COPC, or equivalent.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset, a proactive problem solver, adaptable to fast-paced environments, and an effective communicator and collaborative team player. This role requires a results-driven individual with a passion for continuous improvement, who is customer-focused, resilient, resourceful, and capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
