Regional Engineer

About the Role

Jazeera Paints is seeking a Regional Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to ensuring the successful execution of engineering fit-out requirements across various projects within the region. The role involves detailed study, supervision, and inspection to uphold compliance with technical specifications and project plans.

Project Engineering and Supervision

• Conduct detailed studies of engineering fit-out requirements for projects as per approved plans, providing continuous supervision and feedback to supervisors.
• Perform thorough inspections of all engineering fit-out work during the project construction stage to ensure strict compliance with required specifications.
• Monitor the progress of site work at all stages, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, and promptly informing the manager of any deviations from safety policies.
• Regularly check engineering work to ensure progress aligns with the project schedule, identifying and reporting any errors or necessary corrective actions to the supervisor.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with relevant internal departments to ensure timely communication of any changes in engineering work and design to personnel.
• Facilitate proper coordination between the design team and contractors for effective work delivery in line with correct design specifications.
• Collaborate with Engineers and Facility Management teams to ensure proper coordination of services, safeguarding current and future projects in the area.
• Coordinate with Government Relations in the region to ensure timely fulfillment of utility requirements and regulatory compliance.

Reporting and Compliance

• Communicate feedback to the reporting authority on any deviations from specifications and project progress.
• Provide timely technical reports to department management to enable informed decisions regarding cost implications of activities and any variances.
• Ensure all activities related to the function are executed using safe and environmentally sound methods.

Showroom Operations and Sales Support

• Follow up on agents' showroom works and conduct relevant inspections as per approved plans and regional requirements.
• Inspect and follow up on showroom maintenance issues, ensuring resolution within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Provide support to the regional sales manager as required and guided by the supervisor.

General Responsibilities

• Perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor or manager.
