Regional Engineer

About the Role

Jazeera Paints is seeking a Regional Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves overseeing engineering fit-out requirements, supervising project work, and ensuring adherence to company policies and specifications. The role requires continuous monitoring and coordination to ensure effective project delivery and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Study project engineering fit-out requirements in detail to effectively supervise work and provide feedback to supervisors.
• Conduct inspections of all engineering fit-out work during construction to ensure compliance with specifications, reporting deviations and progress to the relevant authority.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure timely communication of engineering work and design changes to relevant personnel, facilitating coordination between the design team and contractors.
• Collaborate with Engineers and Facility Management teams to coordinate services for current and future projects in the region.
• Monitor site work progress at all stages to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, reporting any safety policy deviations to management.
• Coordinate with Government relations in the region to ensure timely utility requirements and compliance.
• Regularly check engineering work to ensure progress aligns with the project schedule, reporting errors or corrective actions to the supervisor.
• Provide timely technical reports to department management to support informed decisions on cost implications and variances.
• Follow up on agents' showroom works and conduct relevant inspections as per approved plans and regional requirements.
• Inspect and follow up on showroom maintenance issues within agreed SLA/KPIs.
• Support the regional sales manager as required and guided by the supervisor.
• Execute all assigned activities using safe and environmentally sound methods.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor or manager.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh and operates on a full-time basis within a dynamic project environment. The Regional Engineer will work closely with various internal teams and external stakeholders, including contractors and government relations, to ensure project success.
