Job Description

About the Resource Administrator Role

This full-time position in Riyadh is responsible for ensuring the smooth operational running of schools by managing physical resources. The role supports the resource requirements as determined by the operations & office manager and school principal, requiring 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and deliver textbooks, notebooks, and general school supplies.
  • Manage stationery supplies, including stocktaking and communicating order needs, with a requirement for two weeks' notice for timely arrival.
  • Provide assistance to staff throughout the working day.
  • Be available for contact by the operations & office manager and members of the senior leadership team.
  • Support with printing and laminating class work and display materials as requested.
  • Assist in the organization and upkeep of school storage spaces to maintain orderliness.
  • Support teachers in the maintenance and upkeep of corridor displays.
  • Conduct daily check-ins with the operations & office manager to identify and schedule daily priorities.
  • Undertake additional duties as required by the line manager.

Safeguarding Commitment

The post holder is required to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people. This includes adhering to school safeguarding policies and the staff code of conduct. The role directly supports the designated safeguarding lead to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Diploma degree is desirable.
  • Over 1 year of experience in a similar role is required.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Fluency in both spoken English and Arabic is essential.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in approach.
  • Capability to work under pressure with strong time management skills in a busy environment.
  • Effective organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to maintain orderly work environments.
  • Data analysis skills, with proficiency in IT including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in daily tasks.
  • Prerequisite numeracy skills for stocktaking and related duties.
  • Patience for undertaking repetitive tasks.
  • Reliability and trustworthiness, with a strong attendance and punctuality record.
